This pre-seminar is designed for curious dancers who wish to deepen their understanding of tango.

What you get
Let’s be honest: this seminar isn’t about learning new moves or collecting steps to show off later. It’s something else entirely — a chance to actually dive deep into one subject, and work on it properly, for real.
The topics we choose are always fundamental. Things like musicality, creativity, cooperation, understanding the structure of the dance, or the technique of leading and following. Not flashy, not trendy — just the stuff that quietly makes your dancing better, whatever level you’re at right now.
You’ll spend three sessions of 1.5 hours in focused, intensive work — mostly with your own partner, digging into the material together rather than rotating through a room full of strangers. It’s demanding, in a good way. Expect to leave a little tired, and a little more aware of your own dancing than when you arrived.
In between, there’s cake, coffee and tea — because deep work deserves a proper break too.
And when the day’s work is done, the pre-camp milonga is waiting for you in the evening. A nice way to feel, right there on the dance floor, what shifted.

This is a truly charming young couple with a breeze of freshness and enthusiasm from La Plata, Argentina.
From the many different styles and influences they’ve absorbed, Natalia and Agustin developed their own teaching method — one built around genuine depth rather than quick fixes. They start the lessons with exercises to develop body awareness, which opens the road to explore many possibilities, instead of focusing on fixed sequences. This approach makes it possible to dance with greater ease and flexibility and enables dancers to find their own expression.
At Taboe Seminars, this translates into classes that truly dive into a subject rather than skimming the surface. They give you the tools to explore and understand a topic deeply — not just steps to memorize, but the why behind the movement, so you can keep applying it long after the seminar ends. Their didactics are creative and hands-on: clear, precise instructions paired with plenty of demonstrations, so you always know exactly what you’re working toward and why.
And through it all, there’s a lot of fun. Natalia and Agustin have a gift for making serious technical work feel light — the room fills with laughter as much as concentration, which is exactly the kind of energy that makes deep learning stick.
Their aim as teachers is to help people find a dance that is harmonious, authentic, comfortable and natural.

Below is a sample of the daily rhythm. You are free to join any part of the programme you like — nothing is obligatory. We always build in a resting day with fewer workshops and more time to relax, walk in the forest, or simply dance in the café.

We rent a youth camp from the Paasheuvelgroup. When you drive into the forest the seminar is in the first building on you right side. Plenty of free parking.

Because this seminar features intensive partner work, we recommend joining with a partner. If you are booking solo, no problem—we are here to help. As soon as you book, you will get access to our dedicated ‘find a dance partner‘ form, which connected already many dancers successfully.

Your payment needs to arrive in our bank account within 5 working days of our email confirmation.

- 25% of the price up to 1 month before the start
- 50% of the price up to 2 weeks before the start
- 100% of the price within 2 weeks of the start
